What is Help Get My book published?

Simple:

The simple idea of Help Get My is to use social networking to find the right publisher for my book The Tao of Thoreau. I'm using the theory of "six degrees of separation," meaning there are at most six steps between you and the publisher for my book. Contacting your friends can lead to that publisher, and if it does, I will give each person responsible an equal gift of 10% of what the publisher pays me. Read on and find out more about my book and this website, and I hope you'll decide to help me get my book published.

The power of Help Get My is sharing. You and your friends share contacts to try to find the right publisher. I will share 10% of the money the publisher pays me with everyone that directly helps get my book published. Then we will all share The Tao of Thoreau, a guide to simplifying life, finding its true core, and gaining the power of being who we are meant to be.

Goodness:

The ancient philosophy of Taoism teaches that a good life is made up of "simplicity, patience, and compassion." Thousands of years later, Thoreau said it was made of "simplicity, independence, generosity, and trust." Like many other people, I am trying to imitate these great ideas in my life. That is why I am keeping my idea simple, and I am focused on sharing not only money, but also ideas and power. Trust is important here, too: you must trust that I am sincere, and you must trust that if you directly help get my book published I will share my good fortune with you.

What is my book?

I have taken great spiritual words from H.D. Thoreau's Walden and rearranged them in the spirit and style of the Chinese classic Tao Te Ching. Both Thoreau and Taoism use Nature as a model for life; the more in tune we are with Nature the closer we are to the path of happiness. My book emphasizes that simplifying needs and desires reduces worry, increases happiness, and leads "to the path on which no power can resist" us.

When The Tao of Thoreau is published I will continue my hard work to make it a success. I have connections with members of the local media and will use standard and creative methods to push my book's success. Like everyone, I want a chance. I'm lucky to know my dream, I am sharing it with you, and, together, we can share it with the world.

After succesfully publishing The Tao of Thoreau, Help Get My will actively seek opportunities to help others fulfill their dreams. The name of the site offers the flexibility to share many projects, so this is only the beginning for Help Get My.
